A family fun-filled free event that reflects all the traditional aspects of a Chinese New Year celebration. Festival Day is of course themed Asian, showcasing something for everyone: delicious cooked foods, crafts, information and display stands, groceries, a street parade, cultural entertainment, balloons, face-painting and photo booths. If you want more, East Meets West is our Saturday early evening gold-coin-entry show for all the family, melding Eastern and Western performers and showcasing performers from China especially brought over for this Festival. And to finish up, a dazzling night-sky fireworks display lights up the sky. Come join us and enjoy something Asian at the Chinese New Year Festival - Year of the Dog!
