Asian Market – Terms & Conditions

All Participants must read and agree to these Terms & Conditions by clicking either 'yes / no' option on the Online Registration form.

 Conditions of Festival Participation 

  1. The Festival is a family event and celebrates the Chinese culture.
  2. Political or religious messages of any form will not be permitted, including displays and handouts.
  3. AET/Event Organisers reserve the right to request removal of signage/material considered inappropriate.
  4. Imagery (eg photos, video) taken during Festival events are the property of AET/Event Organisers and may be used for promotional or marketing purposes.
  5. AET/Event Organisers reserve the right to select groups and level of participation based on the response numbers received, to ensure a wide and diverse representation of the community.
  6. The Group Leader or a Representative must attend the mandatory pre-Festival WCC Health & Safety Information meeting and report back to their group – date to be confirmed.
  7. All Participants should be aware of the Terms & Conditions outlined here, and comply fully with the all instructions from AET/Event Organisers on the day.
  8. Groups refusing to comply with AET/Event Organisers will be removed from the Festival.

  Craft Stallholder (Indoor: TSB Bank Arena) 

  1. Craft Stallholders must provide own equipment to run their stall.
  2. Equipment supplied to Craft Stallholders: up to four trestles (1.8 x .75m), up to two chairs plus power supply and use.
  3. Access to kitchen facilities and walk-in refrigeration within the venue.
  4. Stallholder fee is charged according to the size of the stall provided, which is influenced by the stall set-up and venue resources provided.

 Food Stallholders (Indoor: Shed 6) 

  1. No gas or naked flames allowed inside; cooking must be with electricity
  2. Stallholders must provide own prep/cooking/serving equipment to run their stall.
  3. Equipment supplied to Food Stallholders (Indoor): up to four trestles (1.8 x .75m), up to two chairs, one stand-alone fridge (positioned in the stall), plus power supply and use.
  4. Access to kitchen facilities and walk-in refrigeration within the venue.
  5. Stallholder fee is charged according to the size of the stall provided, which is influenced by the stall set-up and venue resources provided.

  Food Stallholder (Outdoor: Under the Sails, Queens Wharf – limited spaces) 

  1. Outdoor Food Stallholder sites will consist of a self-contained cooking-caravan or food-truck.
  2. Cooking/Serving to be conducted within the self-contained truck/caravan
  3. Activity to be limited as per your WCC licensed cooking permit.
  4. Stallholders must provide own prep/cooking/serving equipment to run their business.
  5. Kitchen facilities and walk-in refrigeration accessible within the venue, plus power supply and use.
  6. Stallholder fee is charged according to the outdoor space provided, which is influenced by the stall set-up and venue resources provided.
  7. There is no weather cover; you may continue to operate if weather is marginal and at the approval of the Site Manager. There will be no refunds.
